Located on the enchanting site of the Cité de l'énergie, the gardens extend over 3 km² and offer a multitude of picnic areas, trails and a playground on the banks of the majestic Saint-Maurice River. Over 450 varieties of perennial and annual flowers, shrubs and trees in a variety of colors and textures blend with hundreds of Scots pine and white spruce trees. The gardens follow the contours of the industrial landscape. The Cité de l'énergie gardens are an ideal place to take a break from nature, just a stone's throw from the urban vitality of downtown.
