Le Chemin du Lac is a long-distance walking route that allows enthusiasts from all backgrounds to discover the richness of the ecosystem surrounding the beautiful Lake Saint-Pierre. The approximately 200 km circuit is circular, starting and ending in Saint-François-du-Lac.

Come and discover Le Chemin du Lac! The Lake refers to Lake Saint-Pierre. The Path is a marked long-distance walking route that circles it, traversing the regions of Centre-du-Québec, Mauricie, Lanaudière, and Montérégie. Partially completed in 2022, it was fully finished and officially inaugurated in its second year of operation, in 2023. Divisible into day-long sections, Le Chemin du Lac is also accessible to hiking enthusiasts. Take the Path and come explore Lake Saint-Pierre, a UNESCO World Heritage site!
